OOPS! Artists participate in Kinston Plein Air Paint Out!

OOPS! artists have a PRIMO time in Kinston, NC for the 2nd Annual Kinston Plein Air Paint Out sponsored by the Community Council for the Arts. We met many nice people and artists during the event (Hello Tesh).The competition was stiff!... over 30 paintings of the highest caliber. Our own Stephen Greer placed second... CONGRATS Stephen!

Mitchell and Bernie painted the old train depot that is currently being demolished... they met and became friends with Ward Sutton (pictured above with Mitchell) who was heading up the crew at the site.

The Plein Air Paintings will be on display in the Rayner Gallery at the Arts Center on Saturday 10-2 and Tuesday through Friday from 10 -6 pm. All paintings are for sale.
